Contest 'Crystal Science'
‘Ellydium’ corporation had focused on the study of Aliens and succeeded.
Their scientists, equipped with high-end tech and tools, managed to break through and find out the following:
- Crystallids are machines created by a different civilization.
- Over centuries of self-development Crystallids evolved into a society of ‘functions’ with a shared mind.
- Their technology is based on using the Signal's energy.
- Crystallid energy generator (a green spinning element) — the hub in Alien structures — converts the Signal and provides communication between Crystallids.
Unfortunately, that's all we managed to find out. Scientists need your help, pilots!
To further the study of Crystallid technologies we need a hypothesis. Any guess could be a step in the right direction!
Contest terms and conditions:
- You need to write a short story, related to the main theme, and upload it to a special section of the forums.
- The theme of the story is ‘Crystallids’. The rest is up to you — release your imagination!
- One participant can publish only one story.
- The story must be unique and written specifically for this contest.
Entries will be accepted until December 25th. Winners will be announced later and will receive a reward from UMC!
