Not all Precursors artifacts by themselves cause a very quick and painful death for those who found it and keep it. This made Katrina's wreath, collected by the famous Jericho treasure hunter Katrin von Neumann, famous. The missing parts for such a “crown” were made by Katrin herself.
What is interesting about this craft, besides the fact that it consists mostly of Precursors artifacts, you ask? Well, we have part of the answer to this question: according to Katrin, the wreath, I quote: “interacts with the Signal, allowing you to find local maximums of it, and also seems to be talking to me.” With the help of her wreath, Katrin found the untouched ruins of the Precursors, where she found artifacts.
However, this was the cause of her death: when she went on her ship to look for the Precursors designs once again, they ambushed her, tracking down the connection of the wreath with the Signal. According to the pirates, when they shot down Katrina's ship, they heard laughter and saw a skull inside the “crown”. After that, the original “Katrina's wreath”, as the device was later called, was received by Enclave Baron.
The followers of the treasure hunter were able to recreate the appearance of the “crown” and produced a small batch of copies of Katrina’s wreath. They say that some of them repeat the wreath not only in appearance, but also work similarly.
