Star Conflict 1.13.8а Minor changes

 

 

This update has minor changes and bug fixes. Also, we continue to implement some experiments we have planned for the game this year.

 

PvP Arena maps rotation

 

 

Pilots! Here’s the next iteration of maps and game modes in the “PvP Arena”.

The set of available maps and modes for the high-rank ships in the “PvP Arena” will change according to this table:

The current rotation aims to provide the pilots of high-rank ships with combinations of maps and modes that give both teams the best chance of completing key objectives. Based on the meta, some maps and modes may have been temporarily disabled, but this rotation deliberately contains a significantly reduced number of combinations, especially with small maps, due to the availability of high mobility on high-rank ships.

Examples include the “Terminal D” and “Sanctuary” maps. Due to the small size of the playing area and relatively open spawn points, it is often possible to see strong and highly mobile ships rushing to occupy the opposing team’s spawn points as quickly as possible. This had a negative impact on the gameplay experience and encouraged players to use similar tactics regardless of their skill level.

Although the total number of map and mode combinations has been reduced, the main goal of rotation is still to increase the variety of the PvP Arena experience for high-ranking ships by alternating the available maps and modes from month to month.

We will keep track of the balance of power in the game and your feedback, and will try to provide the most up-to-date list of maps and modes as part of the next rotation.
