In ancient times, Pandora system was actively used by the extinct civilization of Precursors as a testing ground and an energy source. This is evidenced by a huge number of anomalies and zones still unreachable by any ships, although there were many attempts.
Mercenaries have many legends and rumours about the system of Pandora. Many people believe that Pandora is a cursed place where entrance for humans is forbidden. But this does not prevent corporations from sending the most reckless pilots in search of treasure and artifacts.
