Modules

The module-upgrade system has been changed, also we have slightly changed characteristics of all modules and modifiers.

Earlier every tier was completely different and after a transition to the next level every pilot should completely upgrade the equipment of his ship again.
In connection with a rank system, we decided to give pilots possibility to use modules which rank is lower than current upgradable ship, besides we decided to totally refuse of tiers and use ranks instead of them.
Many modules and modifiers had the same characteristics on different tiers. With a new rank system, we need to diversify them.
Weapon-DPS on low ranks has been increased, top ranks are without changes.
Ship-levelling has been changed: now 12-15 rank ships have the same durability as on the live-server, and upgraded ships from the lower ranks have more durability in comparison with ships on the main servers.

Following changes about weapons:

  • Mass Driver: damage has been decreased on nearly 7%;
  • Phase Suppressor: damage has been increased on nearly 10%;
  • Destructor:  energy supression size has been increased on nearly 30% and damage on 10%;
  • Ion Emitter: ‘resistance ignoring’has been increased on nearly 20% and damage on 7%.

 

Matchmaking

The range of ship ranks in one battle is +1 or -1 rank from the rank of the ship on which you fly.
For the more convenient testing, the battles are formed by 2x2.
