New player progress system

Very soon, after the New Year holidays, a new player progress system will be introduced into the game. Progress through the ranks will happen in the form of a story campaign, covering a variety of game modes. Reaching a new level will give the pilot additional opportunities — new game modes, more powerful ships, weapons, modules. By raising his level the pilot will also have access to new locations in the ‘Open Space’ mode.
 
A new player progress system will be available in the near future.We'll talk about it in more detail in the upcoming releases of the Developer Blog.  And now all pilots need to prepare their fleet!

New ship ‘Object NY18’

 

Allegiance : Unique ship.
Class : Frigate
Role: Guard
Rank: 5-15. Depending on the rank chosen by the player, the number of available modules varies with the ship.
 
For the first time a ship of this type was discovered on one of the satellites of the gas giant MOA-2011-BLG-322. The titanic ancient ship was abandoned for millennia. By pure chance, it was discovered by treasure hunters. A working mini-shipyard was found on board, which enabled Ellydium Corporation to quickly launch mass production of similar vessels, but much smaller. These ships were transferred to the UMC for testing.
 
Only until January 18 of the new year there is an opportunity to get the unique ship ‘Object NY18’!


 

For daily access to the game between December 19 and January 18, each pilot receives a special container with ‘Object NY18’ parts.

Special module ‘Tactical shielding’

You and all allies within special module range receive additional shields. In addition, your ship's shield is restored for every ally that came under the influence of the special module.

Active module ‘Dome’ MDS

When activated, hacks enemy missiles flying to your ship. At the same time, some of them are redirected to the current locked target.

Global fleet revamp!


 

The UMC begins a large pre-series check of new equipment. Ships designed at the dawn of the game will receive the latest unique equipment and capabilities! New modules and weapons during the holidays can be quickly obtained with xenochips. The fleet will receive updates gradually, role by role. The ships of Command role will be the first to receive an overhaul.
 
Attention! We recommend that you obtain and upgrade the latest equipment as soon as possible! Purchase of experimental modules will be available only during the pre-series test. When the test concludes, the modules will be available during post-battle trophy search and in Open Space mode. We will announce the end of testing separately. Stay tuned!
 


 

The upgraded modules and ships will also help pilots get ranks faster in the upcoming new player progress system, which will be launched after the holidays.   • Forms a beam that deals EM damage
  • Simultaneously, the ship gets a temporary bonus to EM shield resistance

New module ‘Mobile pulsar’

  • A pulsar appears at the crosshairs, dealing damage to all enemies within range

  • The ship makes a warp-jump to the ally, at the same time additional shields are placed on the ally and on the host.

Your objective is to win as many battles as possible. Teams play three rounds in total. In addition, for each subsequent victory pilots get xenochips. The more you win — the more you get. Everything is transparent and simple.
 
For each subsequent win pilots get xenochips:
 

  • 0 wins: 0 xenochips
  • 1 win: +5 xenochip
  • 2 wins: +10 xenochips
  • 3 wins: +20 xenochips

 
After a defeat xenochips are not reset.
 
The reward is issued after the end of the battle, provided you do not quit it in the middle of the tournament. Then, of course, you get nothing but the feeling of loss.
 

Dreadnought battles

The reward for possession the location is transferred to battles.
Now a full reward is immediately awarded for the victory, and for the loss, there's a compensation in 25% of the reward in the location.
