Star Conflict 1.6.3b: Second Phase

Attention, pilots! UMC announces the start of the second phase of the Moon race! In the second phase, pilots will be able to get early access to resources for modifying the Ellydium destroyer “Ze'Ta” up to rank 15!

Phases and Stages

We remind you, that in honour of the 2650th anniversary of the first landing on the satellite of the legendary Earth — the Moon, all pilots can participate in a special event — the “Moon Race”!

“Moon Race” will be held in three phases. The second phase will be available from July 25. Currently, pilots have access to both the first and the second phases of the race, all phases of the race will be available until the end of the event. You can open stages in both phases simultaneously.

Each phase has 30 stages. Only the owners of a special Moon Pass can unlock all stages. It's unique for each stage. But the first and every fifth stage is available to all pilots.

To get the reward, you need to unlock the desired stage. In order to gain access to the next reward, you need to go through all the previous stages. You can join a phase at any time when the phase is available.

Second Phase “A big step for mankind”

To gain access to all the rewards, pilots need to purchase the Moon Pass “A big step for humanity”. The pass can be purchased at the official project store. When you purchase a pass during the Moon Race, you will automatically receive all the previously unlocked additional rewards at this stage!

Ellydium destroyer “Ze'Ta”

Corporation “Ellydium” is proud to present the final stage of the Evolution of ships! Now the Ellydium destroyer “Ze'Ta” is available for modifications rank 15!

The ship was designed using the latest advances in the development of crystalline technology. Incredible offensive and defensive power make the destroyer almost invincible!

The ship's unique feature is a remotely controlled special crystalline swarm, created under the personal guidance of doctors Matthew Gilmore and Conrad Dimeni. This is a true weapon of retribution! Mankind's sword of vengeance, forged by employees of the corporation “Ellydium”!

To unlock the new ship nodes, resources will be needed. They can be obtained as a reward for the 14th stage of the second phase of “Moon Race”:

  • Neocortex
  • Archeocortex

Resources can be purchased or sold in the “Trade” tab. The offer is limited in time and will be valid until the start of the third stage of the Moon race.

The third destroyer special module “Fast Swarm”

Launches a crystalline swarm, which operates in several modes:

Boost mode

  • The swarm accelerates the destroyer. At the same time resistance to hull and shield damage increases.

Projectile mode

  • The swarm flies in the direction of the sight and when it hits or is activated again, it goes into cloud mode. Kinetic damage is dealt on impact.

Cloud mode

  • The swarm freezes in place and increases in size. Opponents caught in it are slowing down and cannot teleport, use micro warp and the “Side booster”. The range of their radar is reduced. Allies inside the cloud have reduced radar signatures. The destroyer's turn speed increases, as well as hull and shield resistance to damage.

When the swarm is destroyed, the destroyer's resistance to damage is further increased.

“Ellydium” destroyer weapon “Plasma burster”

For the Ellydium destroyer.

Shoots short bursts of explosive shells, leaving highly active gas in the place of impact, dangerous for any matter. Gas deals extra damage.

Active module “Crystalline suppressor”

For the Ellydium destroyer.

It produces a cluster projectile, which is divided into smaller shells with homing. Upon breaking it creates a cloud of plasma, restoring the hulls of allies and dealing thermal damage to enemies.

Capacitor modifier “Dead Hand”

After the destroyer has received deadly damage, it allows you to control a swarm that deals increased damage for a while. After the end of the module's effect, the destroyer explodes. Additionally increases the rate of energy regeneration.

CPU modifier “Combat control”

During manual control, the swarm allows you to fire single drones. The modifier additionally increases the damage of weapons.

Destroyer bundles

Attention, pilots! We re-released the bundles with destroyers in a slightly modified configuration. Those who bought the bundles before are not affected by the changes. The composition of the bundles will not change for them.

Balance tweaks

Liquid Metal Injector

  • Cooldown reduced by 25%.

Rationale: the module has a very long rollback compared with other guard recovery modules.

Speed balancer

  • Raised activation threshold from 5% speed to 15%.

Rationale: the current value of 10-25 m / sec makes the modifier undesirable.

Quantum leap

  • Module cooldown increased by 40%.

Rationale: This special module stands out among the rest: it allows you to restore the durability of the ship too often.

Thar'Ga

  • Base ship acceleration increased to 99 m / sec2.

Rationale: The ship’s current acceleration parameters are very weak and are an intermediate option between fighters and frigates. At the same time, after stopping (for example, by a tackler), it is very difficult to accelerate again for such a ship, which makes it extremely vulnerable.

Engineer's combat drones

  • Shield recovery radius increased to 1000 m.

Rationale: The change is designed to increase the competitiveness of this module compared to other special modules of engineers.

Guided thermosphere

  • Base range reduced to 5000 m (now 7300 m).
  • Shot damage increased by 30%.
  • Cloud damage increased by 20%.
  • Projectile speed increased by 15%.

Rationale: The weapon is unpopular due to the weak one-time damage and difficulty in its use.

Branching laser

  • Base range reduced to 4500m.
  • Damage increased by 20%.
  • Time to overheat increased to 7 seconds.

Rationale: The gun has low damage and quickly overheats. The change is designed to increase the competitiveness of this weapon.

Engine Suppressor

  • Prohibits the enemy in the line of sight from using micro warp and teleports.

Rationale: the creation of an alternative module to the inhibitor beam, but with a longer recharge.

Waz'Dum

  • Increased the base speed of the projectile to 6000 m / sec (now 4500 m / sec).

Camouflage shroud

  • Now missile defence can take down missiles with the shroud.

Rationale: added additional countermeasure to the module.

Doppler laser

  • Reduced firing range by 400 m.

Rationale: The range of the gun, compared with a pulse laser, is too high.

Ammunition stabilizer and Weapon overcharge

  • Activating one of the modules overrides the other.

Rationale: Simultaneous activation of these modules provides the ship with an undue advantage.

Turbophaser DN-1

  • Increased damage from weapons by 20%.

Rationale: the change is designed to increase the competitiveness and relevance of this weapon.

Mirv cannon

  • Reduced firing range from 6,600 to 5,000.

Rationale: The range of the gun is too high.

Automatic Tournaments

  • Now the duration of the battle is 10 minutes.

Miscellaneous

Xenochip limit reduced to 200 pcs.
Now the time to choose a free premium ship during the Moon race has been increased to 24 hours.
Improved a number of visual and sound effects.
Added checking of missiles and ammunition for e-sports.

Bug fixes

Fixed a bug that allows you to buy the same lot in trade several times.
Fixed a number of errors in texts, descriptions.
