Results of the big Star Conflict winter survey

Pilots, it’s time to look at the results of the Big Winter Survey! Today we’re going to reveal all the secrets of who actually plays these computer games of yours. Let’s fly on!

In total, almost 1500 people completed the survey.

As it turns out, most pilots are older than 35. This is almost 30%. Another 23% said they were “an old Thar’Ga”. And almost 28% were between the ages of 24 and 35. Pre-retirement age!

As we thought, almost all of our pilots are boys. There are almost 86% of them. Another 3% of pilots are girls. The rest are biomorphs.

More 36% are from Western Europe. Another 28% are from North America. And 17% are from Eastern Europe. The rest are scattered around the world.

In addition to shooting biomorphs, more than 52% of respondents also work! Our condolences. 9% are studying. More than 16% are UMC mercenaries. The rest are retirees, managers of the universe, and astral explorers. That’s what they mentioned in the “Other” column.

The majority of players learned about the Star Conflict universe from advertising on websites. This is 33%. Another 27% were invited by friends. And 11% played with their brothers a long time ago and now decided to come back and remember how great it was. The years go by. The universe is heading toward its thermal death...

Almost 52% of respondents said that they are so old that they saw how the universe began, how worlds were created and destroyed... They’ve been playing the game for that long. Another 28% have been playing for more than a year. 8% play for six months. And another 5% have just started playing.

At the same time, almost 77% of the pilots in the game reached rank 13 and above. And there are only 4% of beginners with a level up to 6.

Preferences on the sides of the conflict were divided almost evenly:

Our pilots play a lot. 42% noted that they disappear in the game for several days a week. And another 40% spend a couple of hours a week playing the game. Another 17% do leave the game at all.

Most of all, players like to play PvE. There are 77% of them. Another 18% prefer to explore the Open space. And 39% enjoy playing PvP.

Almost 44% play computer games every day. Another 23% play 3–4 days a week.

Most of all, pilots love to play space simulators. There are 47% of such players. Another 42% like strategy games. 39% prefer fantasy RPGs. And 38% like action games. The Cyberpunk theme is close to 20% of players. Here you could choose multiple answers.

Happy holidays, pilots! And we are off to read all your comments and remarks! Always in touch, your UMC.

Would appreciate less focus on battle passes and more focus on lore and events, like the invasion (both the first one and the New Threat one), since they were way more unique and brought more interesting changes than just one ship every few month and no new sectors, enemies, game modes, etc. I also think this game's story has great potential, but unfortunately it's neglected and didn't really progress for almost 3 years.

I simply love the game and its supporting community.
There could've been better means of communication with players by involving us more within balancing decisions (Announce changes, get feedback, adjust, implement).

Some of the latest released ships, mainly some of the dlc ships, are extremely unbalanced. Im talking about thor, nordstorm, thrasher and others. I understand, it's a business and you need to make money. Releasing new ships with strong abilities will make players buy the dlc, but the amount of overpowered ships is getting out of hand and pushing players away from this game. Both new and old players are stopping with playing because of these ships.

Again, I understand that it's a business and you need to make money to keep the game alive. But it might be a good idea to invest a bit in the long term health of the game instead of these short term quick cash grabs by releasing overpowered ships. For example, i'm currently getting scared to buy any in game ships or battle passes since i am losing a bit of faith in the future of this game. Why would i buy something if i get the feeling the game will die and close any moment? If there come some balance changes, mainly for the problem ships like for examplew but not limited by,: Nordstrom, thor, thrasher, etc, then i'd be more likely to buy dlc's.

Apologies for the long text, i hope i dont come across as rude, inconsiderate or ignorant. I just want to give some feedback on how i see the game at the moment.

Thank you for all the new ships and we look forward to more exciting content (new Ellydium ships please).

The game is great and I love the way the ships handle, but even though I understand the price of some premium ships I feel like some non-premium ships are too expensiv in the "real money" shop

You need to build a list of what is available in open spaces

Also, try to level up in open spaces to get chips that increase attack power. thank
I am asking for the development of the market. and the game itself deserves further development

This is a great game, everything is almost balanced, but for ellydium ships and their huge cost, i found that make them premium will be good because there almost expensive like premiums ships, but don't have any avantage.
