The first man in space

On 18 March 1965 Soviet cosmonaut Alexei Leonov performed the first spacewalk with the spacecraft Voskhod-2. In honour of this event, we are launching a special weekend promotion:

  • Discounts on all containers and bundles up to 40%

Interesting facts:

The suit ‘Berkut’ used for the first walk was the ventilation type spending about 30 liters of oxygen per minute for a total stock of 1666 liters, calculated for 30 minutes in outer space. Due to the pressure difference the suit was ballooning and severely hindering the cosmonaut’s movements which made Leonov’s return to ‘Voskhod-2’ difficult. The total time of the first EVA was 23 minutes 41 seconds (including 12 minutes 9 seconds outside the ship), and it was a basis for conclusions about performing out a variety of tasks in open space.

Happy flights, mercenary!

Sincerely,
Star Conflict Team
